Hackathon 2022: information
For all the interested young minds
Location: hybrid (in-person participants at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and all other participants will attend virtually)
Price: free and includes food (dinner (Friday and Saturday) and supper (Saturday))
Friday, January 13: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, January 14: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will be broadcast on Youtube on the BrébeufHx channel.
Important information on challenges and regulations will be provided during the opening ceremony.
The Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony will be broadcast on Youtube on the BrébeufHx channel.
The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony.
Activities will include games, challenges and interactive presentations on themes such as robotics and artificial intelligence offered by professionals in the field.
The challenges will be announced during the opening ceremony and a document will be available on the website in the section Resources & Info at the beginning of the hackathon.
You can also form teams of up to four people (for advanced) or two people (for beginners) to complete the challenges, which are different for beginners and for advanced programmers. These can be formed in advance or during the event. You'll be able to let us know through a Google Form.
Challenges will be submitted on Devpost (for advanced challenges) and Google Forms (for beginner challenges).
There will be prizes for beginners and advanced, as well as several raffles.
Mentors can help you with your code. Don't hesitate to ask them if you have any questions. Online, visit the q&a channels in the Discord server to ask your questions.
